h3>1. How do I order a skip?

Ordering a skip from us couldn't be easier. Either fill in our online skip hire form HERE and we'll call you to confirm or give us a call. Remember we're always happy to help!

2. What skip size do I need?

If you haven't checked it out already then feel free to browse our 'Skip Hire size guide' HERE. If you've checked this out an you're still unsure then give us a call, we'll be happy to help.

3. Where can skips be placed?

We'll always try and place your skip in a convenient location for you. Private land is your best option as this doesn't require you to have a permit and we can simply drop off your skip. If private land isn't and option though and you're placing it on public land, be sure to let us know about it when you come to hire a skip. Public land required a permit to be arranged, we sort this for you but it may cost a little extra and can take up to 5 days to process depending on how quick the council responds.

4. How do I pay for my skip?

All major credit and debit cards are accepted as well as PayPal. Skip hire is normally paid for when you skip booking is placed and confirmed on the telephone.

5. How long can I keep the skip?

Normal skip hire is for up to 14 days.

6. I need to place the skip on my drive, how wide is the lorry?

Skip lorries require 3.3meter or 10ft to be able to place a skip.

7. How long will it take to receive my skip?

This can be the same day or the next day depending on the time of day that you place your skip hire order. If you require a permit for your skip, this can take longer, please allow up to 5 days for permit approval.

8. What sort of waste can I put in my skip?

The following waste is acceptable in our skips 

  • Bricks
  • Rubble
  • Wood
  • Metal
  • Hard Core
  • Furniture
  • Furnishings
  • Fittings (non-electrical)
  • Gas Cookers
  • Fittings (non-electrical)
  • Plastic
  • Packaging (including cardboard, plastics, polystyrene
  • Domestic waste such as food and food packaging
  • Soil (not contaminated with asbestos or oil)
  • Solidified paint

9. What sort of waste can't I put in my skip?

The following waste materials must not be placed into our skips and cannot be accepted for disposal

  • Fridges and freezers
  • Electric/gas Cookers
  • Electric Fans
  • Toasters
  • TVs
  • Telephones
  • Computers
  • Computer Screens
  • Microwaves and ovens
  • Batteries of any kind
  • Plasterboard
  • Tyres
  • Liquids (Hydraulic Oil, Engine Oil, Cooking Oil)
  • Clinical Waste (Medical Waste of any kind)
  • Compressed Gas Cylinders/Bottles (Full or Empty)
  • Vehicle Batteries
  • Solvents (Such as Paint & Glue)
  • Other Chemicals (Processing Fluids, Bleach, Detergent)
