Some skip hire Sheffield tips
We have made skips relatively easy but there are a few things that you should think about, below are a few things.
Where exactly are you placing it?
If you’re going to be placing it on a public land area or property, for example a verge of grass or perhaps on the road, you may need a special council permit to comply with the law. Luckily we are able to sort this out for you so that you don’t need to worry, these permits can sometimes take up to 5 days or so to be granted.
What type waste are you getting rid of?
Although our skips are versatile and can handle a most waste types, there are a number of items that we and other skip rental companies can’t get rid of, like TVs, oil and other types of household appliances. Please read our FAQ page for a full list of items before hiring skips.
These are just a few things that you may need to consider. Please see our frequently asked questions page as well as our ‘Size Guide’ for even more information.
